Dale picks up Star and puts him down at the end of my side of the bed as I watch, not saying a word. Back and forth, back and forth. Ending up with my husband's hands on his hips scowling down at them, "You two are tag-teaming me!!" ::giggle:: Star & Thomas just looked up at him and then began shifting back towards the coveted pillow space again. Alas & alack!! It seems that dad was a wee bit too fast for them. Thus my husband lays beside me, waiting for me to poke him and make him take his glasses off and actually go to sleep.
"Now if we both do the song and dance,
we'll look so awesomely cute that he
has to leave us alone!"
"Poohbears! Time for Plan B!"
"Ahem. What happened is that dad fell asleep.
Then mom fell asleep too!"
"So we control the vertical.

ummm, what I mean is that we
finished up the post for today! Star?
The screen is blurry! Get me a pair of mom's glasses!"

ReplyDeleteIf I can get Dale's video camera working I need to make a number of videos. The Tag-Teaming-Daddy, because they do this all the time! Da Boys as they each roll on the driveway, because they do such a good job of it!! And the Changing of the Cat Guard! I'm sure I'd find more think to make videos of as well!! ::grin::
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny that they both wanted that spot and kept heading back to it! I have had that happen with one cat returning to the same place, but never two at the same time!
ReplyDeleteOh we get it all the time!! Our bed is quite popular and Da Boys will stake out a spot and then they'll play "Who will get there first!". It's fun to watch a head peek ovvvver the side of the bed to see if it's already occupied or a cat to come leaping! onto the bed and then stop short because someone is already there. heh heh heh
