"Any presents in here? I need something to give to mom!"
Ah Spring!! The time of giving mom presents!! So far this year we've had one left on the floor and that wonderful present that got chased all around the bedroom in the middle of the night only to be left by the hall scratching post in the morning. But wait! What is this by the front door? "There!! By the hinge side so that mom doesn't step on it!! It's a itty bitty present!! A vole! Look, mom, look!! Don't you love your present?!" ::shakes head::

ReplyDeleteWe usually *eat* our presents...but we do leave the big waterbug bodies out for Daddy to vacuum up. Oh! Once we left a scorpion (dedded) for Mommy. She screamed like a girl! Typical.

Hmm, what kind of presents have you been bringing your mom? Are they deaded?
ReplyDeleteThomas says, "We don't have scorpions around here but mom wouldn't like them at all! We eat the toys we play with outside but not our presents because that makes mom scream at us. We don't like that. Not one little bit. Because when she does, she picks us up, hisses at us, and puts us outside. ::shudder::"

But in our old house they had a hole they would come up in so we got to hunt them down in the water heater closet and the kitchen. Ha!! No mousies escape the Teenage Mutant Ninja Kitty Horde!! Oh yeah, and most of our presents are usually deaded. When we bring ones that aren't mom yells at us and makes us take them outside to play with them there."
