Snow and Some Other Stuff

"What's up with the white stuff on the ground?" 

 "I am your slave twin brother of another mother... it's snooooooow."

When you have twins, your windows are never empty.

 "Those dumb ole' boys are out there.  I wonder why?  It is pretty!"

This is what happens when you have a kitten

scampering across your keyboard.

PSS  One of my friends, Sara Harvey who is an excellent author, has just had a baby.  She and her husband are fantastic woofie parents and I know that they'll be great human parents as well.  But they're having one spot of trouble.  One of their furbabies, Javert, is seeing the baby as prey.  They are heartbroken!!  Please read Sara's FB post and see if you might be able to help!  They've worked SO hard to socialize and train Javert and they want to make sure he gets a new Forever Home where he will feel safe and loved.  Purrs & prayers are greatly appreciated!!!

Still Snowing!!

 "Mom's kittens are still out of school and will be tomorrow too!

We're staying warm in our kitty condo."

 "I'm playing with Christmas toys to stay warm!!"

 "As you can see, I'm helping dad mix recordings done of the

band he's in, Us & Them playing Dark Side of the Moon."

 "Oh my Bast!!  It just started snowing again!!"

It's January... So It Must Be SNOW!!

 "Look!  Look!!  At about 2400 it started snowing!!"

 "In fact, the school system called mom last night
about 2000 and said 'no school tomorrow!'"

 "I went out this morning and there were FOUR INCHES of SNOW!!"

 "I debated several times on if I wanted to go out or stay in.
I've gone out a few times but sometimes I go right back in
because the snow is still there!!  The school called about
1000 and said school would be closed tomorrow as well."

"We're sending a complaint to see if Something Can Be Done."

Where Have We Been and What's That White Stuff??

 "So mom has been having a migraine since she had her EEG on the 6th.  The kitten Feeders had a concert on the 9th after a doctor appointment in the morning.  Both of mom's tests were okay.  The kitten Feeders sounded very good and mom cried because it was Jennifer's last and Corwyn's first Winter Concert at the High School.  That exhausted mom for the whole weekend.  So we sat on her."

 "Emo kitty is still emo.  Dad's car died and the dryer died too."

 "I've been stressed trying to decide what color to be for Christmas.  Last night I was a Lavender point but this morning I was back

to a Blue point.  Every time I do this, daddy freaks out.

He wants to know how I do it!!"

 "Okay.  Can we figure out if mom has ordered Teenage Mutant Ninja Kitty Horde calendars for you & Corwyn for Christmas??"

"Because you both need one."

"This is the one mom wants."

"PS mom's kittens are out of school because it snowed.  We don't like snow because our paws get wet when we go out.  Zaphy and Thomas are the only ones who still go out anyway.  Thomas does it because he can.  Zaphy does it because he prefers the outdoor litter box."

Can I Have My Feet Back??

Thus far this morning I have:
1. Fed the cats, this entailed putting all of the perfectly good food which was left in their bowls back into the Big Bowl* and then refilling the bowls (primarily with the same food that was in them beforehand).  If I had not done this, the cats would have starved to death in a dramatic scene reminiscent of Shakespeare (we have very well-read cats).
2. Let Thomas out into The Snow because he is brave enough and tough enough to take it.
3. Let Thomas back in from The Snow because he's not that tough.
4. Watch Mister Kitten dart out into The Snow and wonder how long it will take him to realize that this was a Big Mistake.
5. Finally figure out which door Mister Kitten has deigned to dash into the house from The Snow; because he is so paranoid and there was no other cat out to dash ahead of into the house.
6. Have my feet quietly and softly attacked by a Ninja Kitty.

Can I have my feet back now??

*The Big Bowl contains the Real Food.  All other food is stale and suspicious.  There is no telling what it might contain.  Mister Kitten is sure that it might just be poisonious.  Ergo, if there is a human available, it is always best to have the bowls refilled or refreshed with food from the Big Bowl.
