Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for Chrystal at
for Lady Audrey Nova StarWatcher
She'll be 2 next month. Audrey had trouble with other cats but now she gets along with Star and Zaphoid (she's still working on stinky ole' Knives). She is my cat (or I'm her human) and every day she checks to make sure I know that. The bathroom is her favorite spot because that's where we play the hair band game (dangerous for 99% of cats! SUPERVISE!). Audrey loves her hair bands and carries them about like prey (but doesn't eat them, nor do the other cats which is why our vet says it's okay for our cats to play with them). Audrey adores me and I adore Audrey!! She's gotten to the point though that other humans need to be polite and keep a sharp eye. I think it has to do with being picked up. She doesn't like to be picked up. But no worries. So long as you have a hair band or other toy (treats are given a wary eye unless mom has them). But lately we've seen more blooming again!! She's always insisted on pettings. In the bathroom, in the hallway, in the bedroom, in the living room. Mom has to pet me, pet me, pet me!! But now she's getting up on the bed and demanding pettings at night!! Every night!! This has gotten Knives jealous and he has had to sleep on my bed so she won't but she actually laid down beside me for a minute last night!!! Squeeeeee!! And for this, I am thankful. Truly thankful. I never care how long it takes. I don't care what it takes. THIS makes it all worth it. Thank you.

(see? that lump to the right of her is my leg!!)
"This is Audrey. I would love it if you stop by my foster mom's! The link to her blog is up there! If you have a green paper or two she can always use them to help feed the other kitties in the cat rooms!! And who knows! You might be the next Forever Home for a Winnie's Wish cat like me!!!! I love my new home and I race up and down the house and play with the squeakee mouse and bird. I love laying on the widow perches (especially the one in mom's room). There are lots of great places to hide my hair bands!! And greenies!! And lots of pettings!"
