Me-om!! What Happened to the Lights?! And Our Fountain!!

 "This morning dad got everycat & the other Feeders up at 0600 because of the siren at the airport near us blaring!  The Feeders all got dressed just in case we had to go into the front bathroom.  Of course we are always dressed in our beautiful furs!!  Then at 0630 all the lights went out!!   And our water fountains stopped flowing!!  Unfair!!"

 "But don't worry!!  I made the siren stop blaring!  It's been raining birds and dogs all day and the only Horde member to go OUT on the leash was dumb ole' Audrey but that's because she only goes out on the porch.  Dumb ole' Audrey.  Oh wait, Zaphy went out too but he made mom walk him all over down the driveway and in the back patio area.  He was sooooo mad because she made him stay on the leash!  Mom says she needs to get more harnesses (and leashes) so we can all have our own.  I think we each need our own color so dad can tell whose is whose.  Mom looked at this but said she didn't know if it would be big enough for us or not.  Then mom & I drooled over the furniture, steps & window seats!"

 "Daddy brought mom flowers last night just to help make her feel better.  Mom got denied SSD again.  Daddy knows that flowers help mom.  Of course we're much much much better at it!!"

"I'm practicing for our Second Annual Everycat Sleeping Contest!!  If you search in our search box on the side you can see who won last year!  Everycat should start practicing now... it will start in July!!"

"Mom had to drive TWO MILES to buy dad hot coffee because the lights were out so far!  They stayed out until 1030!!  They're starting to blink again so we're going to post this quick quick quick!!"

"We have two requests for purrs & prayers.  The first is for Sweet Praline & her mom.  Sweet Praline isn't eating & may be crossing the Bridge soon which makes us all sad.  The second is for Chrystal & her new cathouse!  Please go to her blog & help fund the kitties and find Forever Homes for the kitties in the cathouses!!  (We like Handsome because he looks like Audrey & Star but mean ole' mom says that five cats in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Kitty Horde is enough for now.  Mean ole' mommy!!"

 "Mom got this cat bed about a gazillllion years ago but I am the first cat to use it.  It is now mine.  Mine mine mine mine mine!!"

But mom was sooOOOooo mad at me last night!!  I snuck out again!!  It took her half an hour to get me to come in.  Mommy is happy

that I don't go near the street but she worries when I go out without my leash.  I tell her it's Not Fair!  After all, the boys do it!"

Breaking News! Audrey Needs a Longer Leash!!

"Daddy opens this cat door that he made when the weather gets good.  Zaphoid says that we should have a real cat door so it can stay open longer during the year.  ::tilts head::"

"I've been back here once with mom but it took her for-ev-ah to

get me to come back inside!  But there are so many fun things

to look at!!  There was a deck, a above-ground pool, a table

with chairs, steps to climb up and down and under, a ramp to scamper up that mom uses to get into the pool, a shed..."

PS Don't forget to purr for all the cats and woofies and feeders in Japan!  Some of them crossed the Rainbow Bridge and some lost their homes.  And take a look at the cats & woofies at my Foster Mom's blog, your house may be Just Right for their Forever Home!!  I love mine and I want you to know that Handsome looks just like me!!  Mom says that if he's even half as nice as I am anycat would love to have him in their house.  ::preen::  Which is true.  Thanks!! - Audrey

PSS Jennifer says I need a catio, whatever that is.  I don't care as long as I can safely go outside.  I am very smart and want to go back inside as soon as I hear cars or woofies!!

Mister Kitten!

"Zaphy here with a super special report!(Me-om! Why do I have to sound so formal?)Mister Kitten put Mom to sleep leaving me and my young Mommy to update you on our adventures yesterday.
Let me tell you it was not fun."

Yesterday, I went out and had my Senior pictures done. Of course I had to have Zaphy in one set. He is my cat after all. I wanted to mess with people's heads and thus had him on the leash.("I'm never wearing that thing again....ever!")....It didn't go as planned as he protested against the leash...However it was fun.("Are you insane, Mom?")No. First I had my formal pictures done and than my first set of casual pictures alone. At which time Zaphy attempted to get out of his leash for the second time and scratched me enough to draw blood.("Me-om! It was an accident!")Uh....After that I went and got into my kimono which I was using for my set with Zaphy since he is an Oriental cat. After that we took a set with me in front of bamboo. We discovered it would have been better for all if we had just let Zaphy sit on my lap or beside me.("Of course, Mom.")Oh well....At least that's over and done with.("Yes! Freedom! No leash!")Zaphy's very happy about this.
