Three Weeks with Audrey!!

"I'm soooo exhausted from running all over the house!  I love this chair in the living room.  When Corwyn is home from school he'll be in one and I'll hang out in the other one beside him.  I love him a lot!"

"Hair ties are still my most favorite toys!  I broke one and mom made sure to throw it away immediately so I wouldn't accidently eat it!  I like to get onto mom & dad's bedside tables and steal them.  Especially dad's because he'll take one off at bedtime.  ::giggle::  Then he scolds me in the morning for stealing them!"

"See me looking at my twin brother of another mother?!  Star and Zaphy and I are getting along pretty well now.  Thomas isn't tooooo bad.  I'll hiss at everyone when my stinky yellow brother Knives is around.  He still isn't happy I'm around and we get into it.  He likes to lay in the doorway wherever I am and LOOK at me.  So I go tell mom that he's looking at me again and she tells him 'no'.  Harrumph!"

"Yep!  Hair bands are my favorite!  I also like to come up and get petted.  I'll stand up on two legs and I look sooooo cute!!
All the Feeders I met love me!"

"Okay, I'm still working on this one.  But I'm getting better!!  When I first came home mom & dad (and Jennifer & Corwyn) had to say it a lot!  I didn't know what they were saying as they scooped me up and put me on the floor.  But now I realize that I'm supposed to stay on the chairs.  I still get up on the table sometimes though."

PS "I've been a big help to mom too.  She went and had an MRI on her cerv... cerv... neck this morning and it gave her a migraine.  But I was so sweet when she got home that it made her feel better."

Day Two or Mom, Can We Get Rid of That Stinky Yellow Cat?

"I really like my new toy!!  But I don't like that stinky yellow boy!  He's hissed and chased me three times!!  The other boys haven't even growled at me even though I tell them that this is my bed now!  Although I might learn to share it later. "

"Mommy put a special food & water bowl just for me in the master bath but I found out where the stinky boys eat!!  Ha ha ha!!"

"This is where my mom & dad take their baths.  I think I'll try it too."

"Oh look!  Mom put down my very own little litter box!
It has wheat litter just like my stinky new brothers!"

"My Feeders wouldn't let me get on the kitchen table!!  Unfair!!
And when dad was cutting up meat for his infamous chili he
wouldn't even give me any!!  He is soooo mean!  I may punish
him by not sleeping at his feet tonight.  I wonder why mom
keeps saying I'm just like Star when he was my age?"

"PS mom helped me put up some info about my foster mom's
rescue for cats and woofies.  There is a linky to go to her blog.
If you can, please go there and make a donation or see
if there is a furfriend(s) whose Forever Home is your house!"

The Good, the Bad, and the Growling!!

"Now you can all see what a good, sweeeeet, adorrrrrrrable kitty
I am.  No, really.  I never ever do anything wrong, like... oh...
say... jumping on the table, scratching things up, spraying on
daddy's musical equipment, not letting mommy clip my nails,
or anything else.  But last night I let Jennifer put the lavender compress on me (okay, I didn't like it today).  And last night
when mommy tried to see if I'd take my pill by myself by putting
it in with my treats, I did!!   I really am such such a Good Boy!!
All that growling wasn't me... it was Thomas.  No, really!!"

Well, I slept forever but now that I'm up I'm going to try to do some more work on Winter Holidays.  The store only holds 500 sections.  This is why I'm having to take things down in order to put things up.  ::sigh::  I'm going to pull out the Breast Cancer section into it's own section out from the Medical Expressions.  I just wish it didn't take so long to do this stuff!!  Oh, and I'm having a heck of a time trying to tell if he's still got hard pus still there or not.  ::sigh::  I really can't afford another trip to the vet Friday but it looks like I may have to since nothing has come out.  meh.

Actually, this is true.  I started doing this even before I married my current husband who is diabetic.  The kids come running up going 'This is the house where they give toys!!    I make sure to have special toys for the children who are under three, like plastic cups they can chew on or wrapped healthy snacks.
I get most of my at after-holiday sales or from Oriental Trading.

Yesterday: Star & Thomas

Da Boys know where my bed is now.  ::rolls eyes::  But I'm afraid they've deserted me for bedtime sleeping.  You see, my husband is an.... active sleeper.  I think sometimes he is enacting whatever he is dreaming.  No, really!!  Rather like the cats.  Everyone seems to have forgotten about hanging out in the window seat or on the pillow I keep on the other side of me safe from the whirlwind daddy person (to be avoided at every cost!!  well, except his feet, for some reason his feet were okay).  But the foam bed is smaller and it doesn't leave room at the bottom for all four kitty-cats.   Or at least that's their opinion at the moment.  We're being boycotted.

But only at night!  Zaphy is at my feet as we speak and I've had a few other visitors lately... but only one long enough to get on camera...

"Darn!  A flea!  This will make it harder
to keep her from detecting me!"

"I have tried using my Supr Skrt Ninja Powers
to lengthen the bed, alas to no avail!"

"Hel-lo!  Was that a treat back there?"

"This is the Cat Chi Gong method of drawing treats
that have gone over the edge of the bed back into your paws.
You can not achieve this method until you have attained a red collar.

In other news, Thomas was caught, not only sitting at the table at his normal chair (Thomas has a chair he likes to sit at as if he were waiting for dinner to be served... often when the bowls need refilling) but he pulled a major no-no that he hasn't done in a couple of years!!  (I think he's been trying his best to be a good example to the 'kitten' ever since I caught him doing something and read him the riot act and mentioned something like that... what can I say??  I have seriously smart cats!!)  At any rate, Thomas kept starting to get on the table.  I kept stopping him.  He kept starting.  I kept stopping.  Finally he just got up and pranced his way across the table the very minute that I started leaving the kitchen!!  Ha!!  Cat mommy has eyes in the back of her head!  Thommmmas!!  Skitter scatter!!  Harumph!

I'm a Star... No, Really!!

"I love this hat.  I hope mom never takes it off of this table."

"I keep a vigilant watch over the yard and house."

"I am a mighty hunter.  I enjoy bringing home presents for mom."

"I guard the pillows from everyone else"

"I like the new quilt because I can hide on it."

"I help mom write the blog.  No, really!
I am great with the computer and excellent with the laptop.
This is also where I stare at mom and try to get more treats.
It's how I got part of my name,
StarWalker BitCat the ComputerKitty."

"Mom made Gray Cat after me.
He's not black and he doesn't have my stars but he acts like me.
Or that's what she says!  I think she should get me this pillow."

Whew!! It's Almost Friday!!

Yesterday I was at my orthopedist's office doing pre-op for my right knee replacement.  All day long!!  By the time I got home I was too exhausted to even check email.  This morning I saw my orthopedist himself (along with the baby doc).  Both appointments were early which meant traffic, traffic, traffic!  I was glad to have my honorary brother (and his nearly 4 year old daughter) to drive me.  It was also nice to have my sweet Star sleeping on my leg both nights.  He doesn't seem to want to sleep on the pillow anymore but he did cuddle up which made it easier to get to sleep.  With luck, I'll soon be able to get a new inexpensive digital camera so that I can get new pictures of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Kitty Horde.  Until then...

Mister Kitten: "You're right, the piano makes a nice perch!"
Star: "Yeah, just remember that it's not only my perch first but
mom gets really mad if you knock anything off of it!!"

A tile coaster!  How apropos!
