Da Boys Are Bilingual!!

"I didn't go outside until yesterday because of the cold.  When we say we want to go out or come in mom only holds the door for so long.  It doesn't take me long to check and see what the weather is like!!"

"She counts 1, 2, 3 in English... but if we don't respond she repeats it in German.  That's when we realize mom is serious!  Mom learned a little bit of German from her late father who was stationed there in the Navy.  Then she took it in High School and at the University."

"As you can see, I just have to roll even when it's cold!!
Mom talks to us in German when we're really bad as well.
We're bilingual and respond better to German sometimes."

"However, last night I was very very very good!!
I came inside early!!  So mom didn't have to call me!
Ha ha ha!  I got treats first!  muahahahahahahaha!"

"Mom's had a lot of migraines lately but insurance says
she can only have nine a month.  She finished putting in the
new products in the shop and then put in some new graphics.
We wouldn't let her until she felt better."

Pleh! Pleh! No, really, we need your help!!

"Okay, here's the deal.  Mom has to take out 13 or 14 items out of the store to be able to put in the rest of the Winter Holiday stuff.  (14 if she puts in the Breast Cancer Awareness candle graphic)."

"Now once Halloween is over, mom can take that down and put up the New Year's Eve graphics (there are only two but there will be invitations, shirts, & stuff.  So is there anything that you wouldn't mind seeing go down for awhile??  Mom's got some ideas
but if there's something you were planning to pick up for a gift, meow neow!!"

Happy New Year!!

We stayed home so that I wasn't exposed to any germs.  Once my husband was asleep, Thomas decided that I was the driveway.  You see, Thomas enjoys entertaining you by rolling back and forth on the driveway.  So he was rolling back and forth on me, wriggling with joy, when I noticed (ouch!) that his nails needed a trim.  Fortunately I know how to do that by cutting the clear part of the nail and not the white.

So I clipped his nails and he settled into the crook of my arm. Ah, baby Thomas.  ::snicker::  While my husband is playing with moving our bed, the cats are being conspicuously absent.  I'm not sure where three of them are, but Star is in here, creeping about until he found a box lid to sit in.  I've work to do myself.  I hope that everyone had a safe and happy New Year's celebration!!
